From the height of more than 30 m, large blocks of water flow down through many steps of limestone. In the middle of the waterfall, there is a large rock covered with trees that divide the river into three streams of water, like three white silk strips. Day and night, the waterfalls rolls down the flat rocks, spreading out a great number of white dust that covered a large area. On sunny days, the steam also creates a sparkling rainbow. At the foot of Ban Gioc waterfall is a large river, flat like a mirror.

Situated on the flow of Quay Son River, Ban Gioc has two separate waterfalls. The main waterfall in the north is about 100m wide and 70m high. From the distance, the waterfall is like soft white silk stripes hugging the hill. This is the most beautiful part of Ban Gioc. The other waterfall in the south is less water than the main waterfall and it often dries in the dry season.

Far away, the small hills are full of purple daisies, layer after layer creating colorful paintings.

During motorbike tours vietnam through to Ban Gioc, besides the opportunity of admiring the picturesque scenery, riders can enjoy specialties such as fried fish with aromatic meat. If in September or October every year, you can eat the famous Trung Khanh chestnut. The special characteristic of the Trung Khanh chestnut is whether boiled, roasted, dried with herbs or chicken, it still retains the delicious taste. In addition, visitors can also visit the Gioc village of the Tay people with many traditional stilt houses to hear the Luon and Then singing in the light of fire.

Situated about 3km south of Ban Gioc waterfall, Nguom Ngao cave was formed about 300 million years ago. According to the Tay language, Nguom Ngao means Tiger cave. According to the legend, the sound of the stream flowing like the roar of the tiger, so local people named the cave Nguom Ngao.

The cave has total length of 2,144m, including 3 main doors: Nguom Ngao, Nguom Lom and Ban Thuon. In the cave, visitors will see many stalactites and stalagmites of different shapes.
